This Privacy Policy describes how Cake Topper Generator ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use caketoppergenerator.com.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account ID. We do not receive your Google password.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your card number.

Saved designs: Paid users may save design configurations to our database. This data contains only the design parameters you set (text, sizes, colors) — no personal information.

Feedback: If you submit feedback, we store your rating, your message, and a snapshot of the design settings in use at the time (your plan, export format, number of layers, font name, dimensions, and window size). This snapshot never includes the text of your topper. Providing an email address for a reply is optional, and feedback may be submitted without signing in.

Usage data: We do not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) may be retained for security purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain your account
• To process payments and manage your plan status
• To store and retrieve your saved designs (paid plans only)
• To respond to support requests
• To fix problems and decide what to build next, based on feedback you submit

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your saved designs remain accessible until you delete your account. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use only functional cookies required for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We also store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — your theme preference and the date you were last shown the feedback prompt — which never leaves your device.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal
